Housing and Squatting

It is quite the issue in Western nations, especially in Australia that while houses sit on the market thousands of people go homeless. There are over 100,000 people without suitable accommodation in Australia, this number is obviously ridiculous and many Australians probably have no idea it was this high! Despite so many homeless, the Rudd Government continues to increase immigration, house ownership continues to become an impossibility and countless "For Sale" signs are seen everywhere.

The Rudd Government wants to bring in 300,000 more immigrants over the next few years, the biggest intake since the end of WWII. Most of these so-called "skilled migrants" will be from Southern Asian countries, economic migrants who've left behind their homeland to benefit their own interests. The immigrants have no regard for those here before them, they're offered prosperity by this government and they take it, not considering who it may be affecting. We cannot place the blame on these immigrants, the guilt rests on the government that cares for nothing other than profit - all the while +100,000 sleep on the streets each night.

Home ownership has been called an impossibility by analysts all over the country. "I think we have to recognise it's now going to be a permanent sector. Twenty years ago even low income earners had realistic aspirations of home ownership. Now most of them realise it's an impossible dream," said Dr. Terry Burke of Wollongong University. So, what happened to the Australian dream promised to us? The cruelty of Capitalism strikes again and unlike what the media would have you think, it's not in the Third World but affecting every working Australian.

There are thousands on houses for sale in Australia at any one time. One can drive through the countless new estates with their McMansions and see the identical homes with identical gardens in cute little cul de sacs. It is not that we have a lack of established housing in Australia, we have plenty. Why is it that we have over 100,000 people living on the street without a decent place to live?

A GOVERNMENT THAT DOESN'T CARE!

The analysts that say Australia is to become a nation of renters leave out an important reality. To rent one must have a landlord! How many people reading this know of somebody that owns more than one property and rents them out to people? While these people make a nice profit off those lucky enough to have rental accommodation, thousands haven't a place to live at all. Property should belong to those that live on it and nobody should have to pay extortion money under some concept of landlordship. We must breakdown this lease slavery, those that live in and maintain homes must have the independent ownership of these homes. Every mans home is his castle and he is his own lord!

Once these archaic ideas of property are dropped we can begin to look at the real estate market. All of these houses that have sat on the market for years should go to those that need them - let's start with the +100,000 on the streets! If everybody has a place to live, to call their own and have pride in, our homelessness will drop drastically... I'm not saying it will disappear but at least the houses are more than available.

The next step can be stopping all immigration, this serves only the interests of the ruling classes. The mass immigration in to Australia is the establishment of genocide in the same form as Tibet, it destroys the culture of those already here and has no basis in the idea of democracy. Immigration is unsustainable economically, socially and environmentally and these three reasons are good enough to abolish it entirely. Only the people can decide the immigration policy in Australia.

This is a start. Homelessness is joke that should not even be considered in this country. Landlordship and our Government is betraying the people and it must stop now. If you are having trouble finding a home, please feel free to find an abandoned house with a for sale sign and move in, show them authorities who is boss. Stick it up 'em!

Homelessness would be a joke if it was funny.

With so many empty houses and office space its a crime to leave people on the streets.
