The 5th turned out to be a big day for politics and street activism, especially in Victoria. Various Socialist and Anarchist groups attended a Starbucks demo, outnumbered by cops. National-Anarchists did their own little action against a Starbucks in the city, chatting with customers and talking to them about globalisation, consumerism and related topics; I'd say a much more positive way of taking a stand.
We began the day in split groups; one in the city fairly early and the other coming later in the day. We moved down Swanston St to check out the Climate Change actions that had been planned by various groups, to be surprised by the actual turnout. We spoke to a number of Socialist Alliance members, all to interested to convince what they thought to be uneducated folk to sign their petitions based on their loaded and ambiguous speel. Once they noticed we were National-Anarchists and more than happy to debate their idea of Marxism, they quickly spurted their dogmatic labels and pretended we weren't there.We met up with our fellow comrades and began to mingle amongst the Climate Change crowd, this would have been during Bob Browns speech. One of us engaged a group of secondary students in discussion about free trade and the impacts on both the Third World and developed countries. It was another lesson in how Socialist groups recruit young people with a show of strength and clever slogans but these recruits have no idea about the realities of Marxism. After a short debate they agreed that free trade is harmful and multiculturalism is coercive - only people have the right to decide immigration and trade policies in a society.
The demonstration brought I'd guess about two thousand people from various groups, with very few noticing the New Right and National-Anarchist presence among them -
A few noticed us and took photos here and there, I'd say surprised that we didn't react; why should we be upset that they want a database of NR/NA activists, it means that they consider us a threat to their sad little egos.While heading out of the demonstration we took some last few photos of our comrades chilling out in the masses, which offended some crusty Anarchist sorts. I guess what is good for them isn't quite good for us. I was more amazed that these guys were willing to debate!
The three of them used mostly the same arguments that are thrown at us all the time; that we're Statist, Racist and Capitalist... All totally crap but the usual. These same arguments went around in circles, each time they lost on an issue they'd bring up one they thought they'd won previously, it all become quite comical and boring. I did find it especially amusing that they think we're funded by some rich millionaire in Sydney. It was sad that their dog looked ill; obviously malnourished and very skinny.
All in all, it was an interesting day. We'll continue to attend street demonstrations, whether we're wanted there or not and we'll talk with people, discuss issues and question dogmas. We do wish to find a unity amongst groups to stand against the System but until they can get over their intolerance, we will have to keep creating tension through ideas and discussion!

The intolerance of some of these groups is beyond belief. Just bags full of hate most of them.
Its understandable that people get so full of hatred in this society of ours, but its not understandable that they have to lash out at others.
At least they showed that the bluster about "bashing" NA activists that seems to go on so much on the web evaporates in real life. One positive at least.
Beating innocent people up in front of all the middle class people they are trying to con probably wouldnt have gone down so good anyway.

like i pointed out at the time when we were talking about in breeding and the fact that segregating of races leads to defects and illness, and point out that my dog a mix of atleast 3 breeds including GREYHOUND/WHIPPET, she is 18kg basically of muscle (she can't put on extra wieght it just goes into more energy no matter what i feed her) and is yet to be out run by another dog and has more strength then she knows what to do with.
and a last note on the debate and you being racists , you said you wanted an ethnically hegemonist society with no ther races then the aparently "ethnically hegemonist" "anglo-celtic" "race"
like i pointerd out for at the time its not 1 race, there are more examples of anglo -> celtic race hatred and vice versa then i can be bothered getting into .... hell just go to the british isles or read anything about the IRA or lydons book "no blacks no irish no dogs"
and of course the issue that your debate arguements where all rehearsed bollux even said in the same tone person to person ... classics like "they can stay but i don't think they'd like it" in reference to anyone who is not white wanting to live in a community with you ... but yeah your not racsits
oh and for your little logo you might want to look up what it means. for isntance the red in the star and the celtice cross
(red is for communism/ shared wealth and the celtic cross is one of the most common symbols used by white supremacists and nazis world wide)
oh and if your the same little toe rag i was talking too at the rally you admitted you were funded atleast in part by that old NPD nazi up in sydney, and said you wanted approx 400 different communities all segreigated by borders on the oz land mass

First of all - your dog was tied up with rope, eating plastic and simply did not look healthy. My family has a history of dog breeding and that dog was definitely not healthy.
Ethnic homogeneity breeds defects? What planet are you on? Populations existed for thousands of years without mixing of entirely foreign lineages, Aborigines are an example of this.
I'll let others comment further on this but really, the arguments from the three of you, especially Spitty, were hypocritical and blatantly exhibited resentment of Europeans having any tradition or identity at all. You guys are the racists and we're glad we ruffle your feathers so much.

The celtic cross is not a hate symbol, but one of tradition. Are you going to accuse every dead celt who has the cross on their gravestone of racism? It is in my heritage, and no racial group should be denied the right to express their cultural/ racial/ religious ancestry.
The red star can mean anarcho-communism, but it also refers to syndicalism, or workers rights aka mutualism. This means that the National Anarchists you met are not of the anarcho-capitalist persuasion and do not neccissarily believe in the economic free market, as I'm sure you do not.

The problem is that, even if the N-As you harassed were racists (which I think they have successfully disproved, although I'm not sure not to your impeccable leftist standards), does that give *YOU* the right to repress *their* right to a legitimate, peaceful process? No, I don't believe that it does, but unfortunately the hysterical paranoia that has infected the 'anarchist' movement under the name of 'anti-fascism' makes otherwise well-meaning young whippersnappers into rabid, hateful little Antifa-Jugend, ranting and raving against the politically incorrect with all the fervour of Mao, Stalin, and yes, Hitler, if I might contravene Godwin's Law for a moment.
Simply put, if you are going to harass peaceful demonstrators because you disagree, where does it stop? Do you harass Commies as well? I suspect not, but you probably should, because they espouse an ideology that has killed at least 95 million innocent people in under one century. But they're not racist, so they're OK, I guess.

You dont have to agree with NA Adam, but as long as you despise the statist authoritarian reds that seem to be able to ruin every decent campaign from the Iraq war to student activism as much as the rest of us do....
